In the first quarter of 2024, the top five travel and local apps in Argentina exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users, as per Sensor Tower data.

SUBE experienced substantial growth in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 50K downloads in early January and peaking at around 250K in early February. Active users also saw an impressive increase, beginning at 141K and reaching over 422K by the end of March.

Carga SUBE had a steady rise in weekly downloads, with a notable increase in early February where downloads reached 47K. Weekly active users for the app remained robust throughout the quarter, averaging around 360K and peaking at 423K at the start of February.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 47K in early January and dipping to approximately 18K in mid-February, before slightly recovering to 20K by the end of March. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, starting the quarter at around 512K and closing at 382K.

Airbnb experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 38K in early January and falling to 10K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 170K and stabilizing at around 126K towards the end of the quarter.

Despegar: vuelos y hoteles had more consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 24K in early January to 14K by the end of March. The app's active users saw a slight decline, starting at 244K and ending the quarter at 203K.
